Get to know Rubina Dyan, as she gives us a peak into her practice as a painter and her process into the arts. 

“I got into doing a lot of linear work over the years. My process revolves a lot around trial and error. Most of the ideas I get for a piece are from the errors that I commit throughout the learning process [...] The inspiration behind the palette and style I use conmes from the art and architecture I grew up surrounded by in Spain, by artists such as Picasso and Dali. The fashion industry also plays a major role in the way I perceive and create are as well [...] There’s that intimidating moment when you’re staring at a plain white canvas with an infinite amount of possibilites. You can turn it into so much that it gets overwhelming. That in itself is the most exciting part about the process”.
